I enjoyed learning about life in Ghana as well as the struggles of a son trying to find his place in the world. The book has very detailed descriptions of both the scenery and the characters. I couldn't put it down. The only thing I missed was the pictures since I downloaded the Kindle|About the Author|Francis J.D. Hyland was born, and raised in Kumasi, Ghana (West Africa) by British parents. He currently lives in Tampa, Florida. The follow-up book, "My Father (The Year of The Golden Man)" is in the final reviewing stage.
